M-Line Pharmacy Labs
In our compounding labs we prepare medications
customized to the individual and their
specific medical needs, as prescribed by their
healthcare practitioner. Our method uses as
few ingredients as possible. We review our
patients' medical histories and
practitioner-ordered lab results where
appropriate, and work in conjunction with
licensed prescribers and other regulated
health professionals to ensure each patient
receives coordinated care.
Compounding
Compounding is the practice of preparing personalized
medications for individual patients. Compounded
medications are “made from scratch”—individual
ingredients are mixed together in the required
strength and dosage for the patient. This method
allows our compounding pharmacists to work with the
patient and the prescriber to customize a medication
to meet the patient’s specific needs.
